WHO I AM: Ever since a young age, I knew that I was going to be a gamer. From the SEGA Dreamcasts and the Sonic games to my parents spoiling me and buying me GameBoys, I was always stuck in an alternate reality as a kid. I loved Pokemon (but then again, who didn’t?), Final Fantasy, etc. and when one of my best friends introduced my to Warcraft III and Blizzard’s games, I was hooked. For those of you that lived under rocks for the past 15 years, Blizzard Entertainment has been churning out fantastic games, ranging from RTS (Real-time strategy) to RPG (Role-Playing Games) to MMORPG’s (Massively Multiplayer Online RPG’s).
Blizzard successfully sucked a few years from my life, through means of Warcraft III and its expansion to World of Warcraft (yes, I was one of those kids) to Starcraft II. Since those days, I’ve always had an affinity for gaming - I’d be good at games almost instantly, and would always strive to be the best (which might not have been very conducive to my social life and academic success). Now, however, I’m a college student at a very good school, and have cut down on the gaming. I’m still playing, just not as much, and this is where you guys come in.
Even if I’m not playing video games, I still partake in a lot of communities and keep up with the latest games etc. Therefore, I decided to find a new outlet for my gaming habits/knowledge - blogging. The purpose of this blog is to keep you guys up to date with new games, events, etc. as well as small narratives about my own experiences and life. I hope you guys will find this blog either of use in keeping up to date with the newest games/trends, or interesting enough to keep reading and exploring the trend of gaming that has taken so many people in a choke-hold. Stay informed. Stay winning.
